How to get the most out of in-person events with your brand

This sentence sums it up well. We are learning. I have not been there in person, but today we have found time to review the event in which two people from my team participated in person.

This particular event was not worth the effort. Poor organization, bad location, little networking and few buyers willing to spend. In short, it was not in this post.

Be a sponsor

I’ve already told my team today. I don’t judge an event by its turnover but rather by its branding impact and networking factor. It was an event that was held for the first time. We were one of two sponsors and the organisers didn’t even stop by to say hello. That says it all.

Still, we have taken something away from this event. Feedback on products and new learnings on how to get the most out of participating in events.

I think that in one case we did it but I haven’t asked if we had the opportunity to have a conversation here at the end.

I’ve talked about this before. It’s of participating in an event with your brand. It’s what you want. In this case, it has had a direct impact on a design decision for a new product we are preparing. We have a lot of faith in this product. I think it could be a great success.

We will continue to participate in events. Perhaps with a little more judgment, or so I like to thin.
