Some even fear that this may be something that the omnipotent search engine penalizes when it comes to positioning our website. I can reassure you on that point. This is not the case.

Growing organically is perfectly doable. The big downside is that it is often slow and requires patience on our part. The good news is that there is a fantastic world out there that allows you to reach the perfect target audience through paid ads at a reasonable cost with the possibility of generating a short-term ROI. “But I’m a small blogger. Why pay for visits when I can get them for free through Google and social networks?” Good point, no doubt. A blog can grow to have thousands of daily visits without investing a single euro in advertising . The big disadvantage of proceeding this way is that you have to invest a lot of time and be very consistent. Sometimes you might want to go faster because the hours you invest should also be accounted for in some way.
Medium or long-term goal of blog monetization
The main purpose of the blog is also relevant when deciding whether or not it makes sense to drive growth through investment in traffic. The main question is whether or not I want to make money from my blogging activity . As a rule, a blogger usually starts out of pure passion and does not worry too much about the financial part. You should not aim to make money with a blog immediately because it is not the easiest task in the world either. You may have already read the phrase “the money is in the list”. Increasing the visitor counter does not help you much if you are not able to convert this traffic into blog accurate mobile phone number list subscribers. In this way, you create an asset that you can monetize in the short term or wait until the right time has come.
Does it make sense to buy views to get subscribers for any blogger?
With this question you probably already realize that the subject has its nuances.
Investing in visits and/or subscribers only makes sense if you have an adequate monetization plan. This means that you know (or estimate) that every x visits 6 lessons from leading brands for elevating hotel booking strategies will bring you y euros in z time . Basing a calculation on a potential higher income with your Google Adsense banners is rarely profitable. This arbitrage of buying traffic rarely works. I did it 10 years ago by buying clicks on Google Adwords. For 1 euro invested I got 2 on Google Adsense. This logically had a limit because I could not pay more than 5-10 cents per visit for it to be profitable.
How to know if investing in traffic can make sense for my blog
Nowadays, the calculations are a bit more complex, but there is also a super-fast way to find out if a web project for monetization purposes can be profitable . Especially if we base our efforts on monetization. To make an estimate, we can use a concept from the aqb directory business world: Customer Lifetime Value . We simply have to calculate the economic benefit that a new subscriber can generate on average. Let’s use the following example:
Cost per 1,000 subscribers through Facebook Ads campaigns : 150 euros
At first glance, it would seem that the investment in subscribers is hardly profitable. Adding the concept of Customer Lifetime Value suddenly makes sense, although it also has its risks .

You have to forget that you are buying subscribers. This is not the case. You are buying ads to attract potential visitors. Then each user decides whether to subscribe to your newsletter or not. You have to take advantage of all potential sources of traffic. If the numbers work out for you, it may even be profitable to do it with Facebook Ads or another channel that achieves a cost per subscriber of €0.15-€0.30.
